WindSurf Action Shots

(Cannes, wave session, 08-01-2006)

When wind is blowing from east in Cannes, the left side of the spot becomes an amazing wave spot. While it was very cold this day (10°C outside, 13°C in the water) I was able to ride during 2 hours and a half, thank to my head suit.. Otherwize I would not have been able to ride more than an hour... A friend of mine (windsurfer as well) came with his binoculars that fit exactly with his digital photo camera. It explains why there is some shadowing halo effect around some photos.. Nevertheless the effect is quite cool IMHO. He was also able to get some nice moves as shown below...
